The Women's Ministry Team of First
Southern Baptist Church operates under the authority of God's leadership and church guidance. We will seek to develop
spiritually mature women and equip them to serve. It is our desire that, through
Christ, they may be encouraged in heart and united in love so that they will proclaim Christ, who powerfully works
in us.
PURPOSE OF Women's Tea's
The purpose of Women's Tea's
is to integrate women of all ages into small groups. By doing so, we hope that their love for God will increase.
As well as, establishing relationships with other women which foster fellowship, encouragement, prayer support,
and outreach.
Women's Bible
Study-The Women's Bible Studies meet weekly during morning and Wednesday
evening to discuss various topics and with various formats (video, discussion,
etc).
Women's Retreats- Several times throughout the year, our ladies are involved in retreats that inform, inspire, and allow small group interaction.
Women's Prayer Groups- The ladies meet weekly for special times of prayer and fellowship.
